Bicester Hotel Review by

What does it look like?

The Cotswold stone building of the Bicester Hotel, Golf & Spa is very modern and contemporary and is surrounded by amazing grounds and a Championship 18 hole golf course with breathtaking views of the Oxfordshire countryside.

What happens when you get there?

We entered the comfortable, modern reception area where the friendly reception staff take your bags to your room.

What do the bed rooms look like?

The bedroom was specious, elegant and airy, with a large en suite bathroom.

Our room had fabulous views over the golf course and grounds.

What was the food like?

We ate a three course dinner in Grays Restaurant, where we were looked after very well by our attentive waiter. It was delicious and we enjoyed all the courses. We recommend the Roast Pork Belly! Bicester also offer a range of bar snacks in their sports bar. This is a great bar for sports lovers as they have large screen TVs and show different sports throughout the day.

What were the Spa Facilities like?

The Spa facilities include a 20 metre swimming pool, whirlpool and hydrotherapy pool ,sauna, steam room and Tropicarium. These facilities are outstanding! Looked amazing when lit up at night. In better weather you can also use the outside private hot tub area, which is ideal for parties in the summer.

What were the treatments like?

The treatment rooms were welcoming and ambient. They played gentle spa music and were very relaxing.

We both had Swedish Back Massages which felt sensational. The therapists were very thorough and the treatments were unrushed. They also offered advice on wellbeing.

All in all this is a place not to be missed. It is only 1 hour away from London and it is a perfect place to escape to. You can even go on a cheeky shopping trip as Bicester shopping village is only round the corner! Shhhhh.
