Terms and Conditions


SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD acts as an agent between clients and service providers (e.g. spa venues and hotels). SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD has taken all care to ensure published information and prices are accurate however if we identify an error or omission following publication, we will inform you before confirming your booking. The revised information will then form part of your contract. If an error or omission is discovered after your booking is made, we will always try to advise you prior to your spa break.

The descriptions of the hotels and spas and other aspects of the spa breaks advertised are based on opinions gained on site visits, feedback received from clients, and on the opinions and marketing materials of hotels and spa venues themselves. We are not always able to exercise control over all the components of the spa break arrangements and it is possible that an advertised amenity may be withdrawn or changed due to various reasons such as renovation work, etc. We will advise you if we become aware of a major change but we cannot accept liability for incorrect information listed on our website, loss, damage or inconvenience in such circumstances.


We may make information regarding specific programs, offers or promotions, which we are conducting, available on the SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD web site. Any such offer or promotion is subject to the specific terms, conditions and restrictions listed on the web site or informed to you by telephone or email by one of our consultants, in connection with such offer or promotion. We reserve the right to alter or withdraw any offer or promotion at any time. Each offer and promotion is void where prohibited by law. Please refer to and read carefully the terms, conditions and restrictions included on the SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD web site in connection with each offer or promotion.


In order to secure a booking a minimum deposit of £20 per person must be paid at the time of booking. There may also be circumstances where, in order to secure your booking, we are required by the spa venue to ask for a greater deposit amount from you. Your booking is considered definite and a contract will exist between SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD and you only when the appropriate deposit has been received and an email of confirmation sent to you. No contract will exist prior to our issuing our email confirmation.

The balance of your booking must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the date your contracted spa break is due to commence. There may be some circumstances where full payment is required more than 6 weeks in advance of your spa break, however this will be clearly advised to you at the time of booking. Bookings made less than 6 weeks before your date of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking. If the balance of the price of your spa break is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your spa break and retain your deposit.


SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD accepts the following forms of payment:

(i) Credit/debit cards – Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch. Please note that all payments made by credit card carry a 2.5% handling charge.

(ii) Personal/company cheques made payable to “SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD”.

iii) Bank Transfers are accepted on balances over £500.00


On receipt of your payment we will email confirmation of your booking with SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD. It is important that you check the confirmation carefully to ensure that all your booking details are correct including names, spa break dates, balance to be paid and the date by which it is due. Contact our consultants immediately if your confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete and we will endeavour to make the necessary changes. SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD reserves the right to make changes to and correct errors after bookings have been confirmed, and will email to you confirmation of any changes made.


All prices quoted by SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD are per person and based on twin/double occupancy. Single rooms are available at spa venues, however they often carry a supplement.

We reserve the right to increase the price of any spa break advertised on our website.

Where spa treatments are included in our spa breaks they are deemed to be included in the fee quoted.

Please note that all extra’s consumed on site such as food, drink, entertainment, additional spa treatments and transport must be paid for by you, and your booking with SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD only includes the package set out in your confirmation email. We accept no liability for any charges you consume on site in relation to any extras outside of your package.


Should there be any increase in the cost to us, caused by Government action we will only absorb 5% of the price change. You will be required to meet any increase between 5% and 10%. If we have to increase the price of your spa break by more than 10%, you will have the option of continuing with the spa break arrangements and meeting the extra costs (above 5%) or of cancelling with a refund of any money you have paid to us, except any charges you have incurred for amendments. If you decide to cancel the spa break, you must do so within seven working days of the issue of the revised confirmation of booking email.


If you have any special requests and/or medical issues, you must advise us at the time of booking. Although we will endeavour to meet any such requests we regret we cannot guarantee to do so.


SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD will do its very best but cannot guarantee to comply with any request by the client for alteration to a confirmed booking prior to departure. After receipt of booking confirmation SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD will charge an administrative fee of £20 per person per alteration and will pass on any associated costs incurred before, during or after the spa break passed on by our suppliers. For the first two changes to numbers over 8, this charge will not apply. After these two free changes the £20 fee per change will apply.

It is possible to cancel your spa break at any time up until 6 weeks prior to travel, provided that cancellation of a confirmed booking is notified by the person who originally booked the spa break by telephone to one of our consultants AND by email to SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD. Cancellation will be effective from the day such written notification is received. Bookings cancelled with less than 6 weeks to go before travel will result in the loss of all monies paid at that time. Please note that in all cases of cancellation the £20 per person deposit or £100 group booking deposit is non refundable.
Some Spa Hotel bookings are 100% non- cancellable and non-refundable and this will be related to you upon booking.

Once your spa break has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your spa day or spa stay will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.


Every effort will be made to operate all spa breaks as advertised but SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD reserves the right to modify or cancel any spa break arrangements both before and after bookings have been confirmed. Changes are normally minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If your spa break has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide a spa break of a similar rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD. reserves the right to make changes to and correct errors on our website and in our brochure both before and after bookings have been confirmed.

In the event that SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD are compelled to cancel spa break arrangements due to reasons beyond our control every endeavour will be made to provide suitable alternative arrangements of the same standard or if the client prefers, SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD will refund all monies paid, except in circumstances amounting to Force Majeure*.


Spa venues reserve the right to alter confirmed treatment times. If your confirmed venue cancels your reservation or changes your treatment time we will try to find a suitable alternative. You will be charged or refunded for any difference in the original cost. Such changes do not entitle you to cancel a spa break that is part of a package. The spa can/may have to refuse to offer to you an alternative time for spa treatments if you are either late or delayed.  No refund (full or partial)  will be offered to guests that have been unable to attend their treatments on time. Guests need to arrive at the spa at least 15 minutes prior to start of treatments.


Appropriate clothing must be worn at spa venues at all times, and we cannot accept any responsibility in any ruling by the venue if you or any of your group is unable to use the leisure facilities or receive spa treatments due to inappropriate attire. Please check before you travel that your group is aware of the appropriate attire.


Throughout your booking with SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD you accept full liability for any damage, injury or loss caused by you or any member of your group.


If you have a complaint or experience any problems during your spa break please inform the hotel or spa venue immediately during your spa break. We recommend that you speak to the Hotel or Spa General Manager and take the matter up with him/her directly. If you do not reach an acceptable conclusion during your spa break please notify us by email at info@spastayselect.com

Please note complaints cannot be dealt with over the phone or by email. We cannot accept any liability for the arrangements you have booked and any assistance provided in resolving a complaint in relation to any spa venue booking is provided on a goodwill basis and in our capacity as agent.

SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD endeavour to make sure that all parts of the spa break are arranged, performed and provided with expertise and care. If, however, you have any complaints concerning any services we provide you must inform us in writing by letter or email within 28 days of your return date. We regret we cannot accept any liability if we are not so notified. Our maximum liability to you if we are found to have been at fault in relation to any service we provide is limited to the commission we have earned or are due to earn in relation to the booking in question.

Exclusion of Liability:

Whilst SpaStaySelect.com makes every effort to monitor the experience fulfilled by the supplier, any liability incurred by the customer or the recipient caused by the supplier’s negligence is the responsibility of the supplier and not SpaStaySelect.com.

SpaStaySelect.com shall not be liable for the death or personal injury of the customer, recipient or third party while undertaking any treatment or activity provided by the supplier.

SpaStaySelect.com shall have no liability for damage to property, consequential loss or expenses suffered, which includes but is not limited o loss of anticipated earnings, profits, goodwill, reputation, business receipts or contracts, losses or expenses, resulting in third party claims.

Any help provided in aiding to resolve a complaint raised, in respect of your spa day or break at your booked venue, is provided on a goodwill basis and in our 3rd party capacity.

It is the responsibility of the venue to agree and accept liability if appropriate and to provide any concession or refunds and SpaStaySelect.com Ltd  cannot influence any decision made by them.


You agree to indemnify us to the fullest extent permitted by law from and against all liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable expenses, including but not limited to legal fees and expenses, arising from or in connection with any claim or action arising as a result of your breach of these Terms.


Your use of the SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD web site is at your own risk. the web site is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, other than those warranties which are imposed by and incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under the laws applicable to these Terms.


In order to process your booking and to ensure that your spa break arrangements run smoothly and meet your expectations we need to use the information such as name, address, any special requirements etc. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We must pass the information onto the relevant suppliers of your spa break such as venues or hotels.

This privacy policy sets out how SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD uses and protects any information that you give SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD when you use this website.

SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1 April 2010.

We hold clients details on our own database, to send out promotional e-mails. If you do not wish to receive these please let us know. Clients have a right to ask us at any time what details we hold on them.



SpaStaySelect.com operates and manages the web site www.SpaStaySelect.com and trades in the United Kingdom under the name SpaStaySelect.com of The contract for the gift voucher spa experience is between you andSpaStaySelect.com, but please note the fulfilment of the spa experience is by a third party supplier.


The unique identification code/booking reference on your gift voucher must be given to SpaStaySelect.com before you can commence the booking. All vouchers are valid for six months, the expiry date is clearly stated on each voucher. The spa experience must be booked and taken before the expiry date on the voucher. If a voucher is not used before this time, the voucher is completely non-refundable and will no longer be valid. All voucher purchases are subject to a 14 day 'cooling off' period, and can  be cancelled and refunded (if not actually redeemed) within 14 days of the purchase date.

All hotels and spa venues listed on SpaStaySelect.com reserve the right to change, amend and discontinue spa pacakages at any time. Prices stated on spa package offers are "From" prices thus an extra amount may be payable on redemption of the voucher if  the hotel has raised their price for that offer.

A monetary voucher allows you to redeem against any packages at any of the venues listed on the SpaStaySelect.com website at the time of redemption. If there is any value left over from a package, the client can redeem this against extra treatments in most cases at the same spa. Please note, 75% of the value of the voucher must be redeemed against a spa break and spa day packages, not individual treatments. All dates are subject to availability. Vouchers cannot be used within 3 days of purchase.


It is essential to contact SpaStaySelect.com to pre-arrange a date for your spa experience. If you arrive unannounced you will not be able to redeem the voucher and participate in the spa experience. SpaStaySelect.com recommends booking at least six to eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry dates listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and SpaStaySelect.com recommends you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book your spa experience before the expiry date on the voucher.


The expiry date is clearly stated on the voucher and is non-negotiable. In the case of illnesses, medical conditions, personal reasons etc then the expiry date may be extended for a further 6 months upon payment of £25 per voucher (plus any increase in spa package price). In order to extend your spa voucher, SpaStaySelect.com must be notified prior to the voucher expiry date. Failure to notify SpaStaySelect.com before the original expiry date will render vouchers invalid.


a) Should a venue cancel a spa experience booking, SpaStaySelect.com will allow you to use your voucher at an alternative venue on our website.

b) If a client cancels within 6 weeks of travel then the entire value of the gift voucher will be lost. If a client cancels outside of the 6 weeks then the value of the gift voucher, minus a £20 per person cancellation fee will remain available to redeem.


Due to the nature of some of the spa experiences offered bySpaStaySelect.com, participating in certain treatment or activities may be harmful to your health. Therefore, the recipient of the voucher must notify the sales consultant at SpaStaySelect.com of any relevant medical conditions before booking a spa experience. They must also inform a representative at the venue before commencing any spa related activities or treatments of any medical conditions likely to affect them.


In the event of a lost voucher, SpaStaySelect.com can issue a new voucher for an administration fee of £25, subject to proof of purchase.


The spa experience is fulfilled by the supplier and notSpaStaySelect.com. SpaStaySelect.com has made every effort to monitor the services of the supplier but SpaStaySelect.com does not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the supplier’s performance or safety standards. If you have a complaint during your spa experience, please bring it to the attention of the supplier as soon as possible so that they can address the issue immediately.


Whilst SpaStaySelect.com makes every effort to monitor the experience fulfilled by the supplier, any liability incurred by the customer or the recipient caused by the supplier’s negligence is the responsibility of the supplier and notSpaStaySelect.com.

SpaStaySelect.com shall not be liable for the death or personal injury of the customer, recipient or third party while undertaking any treatment or activity provided by the supplier.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights. These terms and conditions are subject to the law of England and Wales. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.


SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD will not be liable for additional expenses or compensation incurred through travel delay, Acts of God, Force Majeure or events beyond our control. Force Majeure is unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control such as war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.


Your booking with SPASTAYSELECT.COM LTD and these Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of those countries shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning these Terms and any matter arising from them.
