The Spa

The spa at The Carrick is known as one of Scotland’s finest and it is located 5 minutes from the hotel so for those guests who are on a spa break they will have access to the Carrick Thermal Suite at the time of their treatment – other than this you can access the Cameron House Leisure Club at the hotel.

You will definitely feel nature surround you at The Carrick Spa as the drama and the spectacle of the Loch setting is only half the magic. The Spa has 17 dry and wet treatment rooms including a couple’s suite, a breathtaking rooftop terrace with infinity pool, thermal experiences, and aromatherapy steam room, holistic studio, gymnasium and pool, this is truly a destination spa.

The Thermal Experience at The Carrick, consists of a  series of thermal and hydro treatment rooms, you would begin with an experience shower,  then aroma steam bath, hydrotherapy pool and the infrared sauna, before moving on to the caldarium and tepidarium. You finish your experience in the signature rooftop Infinity Pool gazing across the Loch at the majestic Ben Lomond-absolutely divine! You can discover a whole new level of skin care with the luxurious and innovative range of facial and body treatments. The signature treatments at The Carrick have been devised by the award winning ESPA.

You can relax in between experiences in the calming relaxation area – simply sit back and absorb the stunning beauty of Loch Lomond. There is also a Spa Café where you can remain in your bathrobe and enjoy a bite to eat.  The Carrick Spa is located a stone’s throw away (2.5 miles) from Cameron House and the concierge service will transport guests to the Spa.

The Dining

Where to eat lunch or dinner? You will be spoilt for choice at either:

The Cameron Grill where the menus are expertly prepared and served using products from Scotland’s larder. The open plan kitchen makes your dining experience an unforgettable one.

The Claret Jug is an informal relaxed environment serving homemade burgers, meat pies, salads etc ideal after a visit to the spa or after a round of golf.

Alternatively, The Boathouse situated at the Marina, is a 5 minute walk from the main hotel. The light airy New England style theme with large outside decking area serves pizza, pasta, seafood, steaks and burgers. You also have the luxury of a second restaurant in the Michelin star Martin Wishart at Loch Lomond, with seasonal dishes created by the world renowned chef that are complimented by an expertly selected wine list.

The Area

There are many local attractions including a truly indulgent treat on the hotel's seaplane or Loch Cruise and create a hotel experience unlike any other.  Other activities nearby also include Loch Lomond & The Trossach National Park, Glengoyne Distillery, Inveraray Jail & Castle and Charles Rennie Mackintosh Hill House.

Bedroom check in time is at 3pm and check out at 11am.
